I have managed to fit in four shoots in January with the first one of the New Year being with Lexinoir which was our fourth shoot together. While I love to work with new models for the first time, I do find the more times I work with a model the shoots get more productive each time as we know how each other works and what shots work and don’t.
I only do the photography as a hobby and have found already this year that the day job is taking up much more of my time and starting to have a detrimental effect on the amount of shoots I can do. It’s not so much the shoots but the editing of the images afterwards that I keep getting behind with. Most of last year I was able to get the editing from each shoot completed within a week to two weeks at most, but I am already finding that is starting to stretch into a third and fourth week. Hopefully this will not restrict me from fitting as many shoots as I can in 2012, but I will have to manage my spare time much better this year.
