Photoshoot with Jade-Samantha - 12th July 2012

I did a shoot back in early February this year with Jade-Samantha and our original plan for that shoot was to do it out on location, but we had to change our plans at the last minute and use the studio instead.

We had both wanted to arrange another shoot so we could work together out on location and managed to fulfil those plans a few weeks ago.

We wanted to try some Art Nude as well as some light fetish images. I chose a location which has an old building which is located in woodland and would meet our requirements for the fetish shots in the building and the Art Nude outside in the woodland area.

The difficult part I had was balancing the ambient light with the single strobe I was using as the sun was out but going behind clouds every few minutes, so it was a case of waiting between shots for the sun to come back out, which was frustrating at the same time as a positive as it slows down the shooting process, which I believe is good thing, as gives me more time to think between shots to study the pose & lightening.

Below is a few of the Art Nude shots, the 2^nd of which is interesting as Jade-Samantha is standing inside a building and I am shooting from outside through the undergrowth which had grown up around the entrance. I have lit Jade-Samantha with a single strobe inside the building to camera left, with the foliage being lit be the sun coming from behind the camera.

The last set of images we did were in the building with Jade-Samantha tied by the wrists and below is my favourite image from this shoot. I love how Jade-Samantha seems to be looking into this pit in front of her and how the light shows off the curves in her back and bum.

Photoshoot with Akaridesire - 30th June 2012

After a bit of juggling of the diary Akaridesire and myself managed to get another shoot arranged. If regularly read my blog, you will remember we last worked together back in March this year, where we got some great artistic nude images.

I wanted to revisit the same location and continue to work in the Artistic Nude genre with Akaridesire as I believe she has the perfect body for this genre and has legs that just go on and on.

Again on a location shoot this year it was a typical overcast day, but luckily the rain held off until we were driving back. As normal on location I used my same set-up of using one strobe as the main light on Akaridesire, while balancing the ambient for the background etc.

This time though rather than going for heavily posed shots as I did last time, I wanted a much more relaxed look to the images and I think we managed to achieve this, but I will let you all be the judge.

As I write this the news tells me that summer is just around the corner, which is hard to believe as we are nearly into August already. But fingers crossed they are right as I have a few location shoots coming up over the next month, so watch this space.

Photoshoot with Velvet - 16th June 2012

Here are a few images from a location shoot I did with Velvet a few weeks ago on one of those rare dry days we have had so far this summer.

I am sure Velvet will write up the experience much better than me on her Blog.

As you can see from the images we went for a bit of a Victorian theme.

Sorry this blog is a bit short, but the day job is seriously having an impact on my photography, website updates etc. at the moment.

Photoshoot with Sarah - 2nd June 2012

Well it’s been a month since I last updated my blog, which seems a long very time, considering I do try and arrange 2 to 3 shoots a month and more if I can. May though turned out to be a pretty dead months as far as shoots go. This was mainly due to having 3 shoots being cancelled for various reasons which happens. The frustration from my point is my shooting time per month is very limited and if it get’s cancelled for any reason it is very difficult to arrange another shoot at short notice so the opportunity tends to be lost.

I need to find a model that would like to be my muse, who would be able to step in at short notice and is willing to experiment with different ideas and locations. I have tried in the past  to find a muse, but have as yet failed in this endeavour so if any one reading this wants to discuss this, then please feel free to drop me a mail.

I am digressing as I should be writing about a Shoot I did a few weeks ago with Sarah. Sarah and myself have been trying to arrange a shoot together for quite a while now. Thankfully we got together on a Saturday morning and the weather while not sunny at least it was not raining which was a major surprise with the weather we have had so far this year. So we could go ahead with our plans for shooting on location, the ideas for the shoot had been to do some artistic nude images in this old building as well as some fetish type images.

We started off doing some images of Sarah in a under bust corset before moving onto some art nude shots, though to try and give the art nude images a slight difference edge Sarah put on some Fetish Ballet Boots which I always think look great, although as yet I have only met one model who can actually walk in them.

We then finished off the shoot with some fetish style images. The weather suddenly got a lot colder and so we didn’t shoot as long as we both would have liked but we are already discussing ideas and dates for a next shoot, so I am sure 2^nd time around we can do even better together.

Photoshoot with Kelly - 21st April 2012

Well after a week being layed low with a throat virus, I thought it was about time I started to catch up on things that have drifted a bit over the past week, starting with my blog regarding a shoot I did with Kelly a few weeks ago.

We had been discussing the shoot for quite a while, emailing each other ideas etc. We both agreed to do the shoot on location and wanted to go for some artistic nude shots and then move onto some light fetish.

As everyone knows the British weather is not exactly playing ball regarding location shoots at present, but at least the day was dry if extremely cold.

We started off doing the artistic nude shots in an old abandoned building, which I have since learnt is the old boiler room from a World War II air base and is only one of two buildings left of the Air Base.

It soon became very apparent to me that Kelly was getting extremely cold, but she was determined to work through it, so we continued on for about 2 hours before I called a halt to the shoot, as Kelly’s legs would not stop shakingJ

By then we had done quite a few art nude shots and some fetish type shots. Though before I let Kelly get dressed I decided to do a few of Kelly in just her coat in the road which is only a 100 yards from the building and tends to be an extremely quiet area so I didn’t think we would get to many interruptions from other cars.

I have to say Kelly was a trooper for a inexperienced model and gave everything to the shoot even though it was clear she was freezing cold. As we didn’t accomplish everything we wanted to on the shoot we have arranged another shoot for June when fingers crossed it will be a lot warmer.

Catch up Time

I thought it was about time I caught up, as I am about 3 or 4 blogs behind at present, so decided to get myself back on track in combining the last few shoots into one.

A few weeks ago I did my first shoot with Alice, which was done on location at one of my favorite locations. In all the time I have used this location I have never encountered any people but this time we encountered a man who once he saw what we were doing just didn't want to go away. It was a good job Alice was an exhibitionist as this man wanted to stay, watch and talk for about an hour. So we just had to continue and give him a story which I am sure he has fully told at his local pub on more than one occasion:-)

Anyway here is one of the images from the shoot with Alice.

I have also done another shoot with Cat who stepped in at the very last minute, when I model I had booked had to postpone our shoot for a very good reason. This shoot was done in the studio and I think this is my favorite image from the shoot.

I will get back to my normal longer blog's for my next shoot within the next few days.

Photoshoot with Perilune - 26th March 2012

I can’t believe it’s been nearly a month since I last put up a blog and did a shoot, but looking back my last shoot was back on the 10^th March with Akaridesire.

With the normal pressures of life I am finding it difficult at the moment to schedule in the amount of shoots I would like to do, but let’s hope with spring just around the corner they will become more frequent.

Perilune and myself have been talking about a naughty bride style shoot for ages, which we wanted to do at an old derelict building and maybe also in woodland. Perilune had dug out her wedding outfit and I had the perfect location of an old building in the middle of some woodlands. So we arranged everything and in fact were lucky enough to have a nice day for the shoot which was surprising for the end of March.

We started off doing some images of Perilune in the woodland area beside the building, which was a constant battle with lighting as the sun kept coming out and then going behind the clouds, so I was constantly changing camera settings as I always shoot on manual as it gives me more flexibility as to if I want the background blurred or not depending on each individual scene I am shooting. I had decided for the first set just to get some nice bridal shots with a difference due to the location before moving onto the naughty bride shots.

Once we had completed this set we were going to do the naughty bride set in the building but I noticed the amazing shadows that the sun was creating on the outside wall of the building, so decided to use that wall to see what we could create. It’s funny I have used this location many times, but never seen the light work on that wall in this way before. So we moved to this location and I took some more bridal shots of Perilune capturing the shadow play on the wall, before moving on to the naughty bride set.

I was in Amsterdam back in early March and couldn’t believe my luck to find a beautiful glass dildo in a sale for 10 Euro’s, yes an amazing bargain which was perfect for our ideas of the naughty bridge. We started with Perilune leaning back on the wall and  I just asked her to act the naughty bride which she was surprising good at. Then I had her lay down in front of the wall and continued with the naughty bride them.

To finish the shoot we did some artistic nudes against the wall this time with Perilune wearing just an amazing set of nipple jewellery that I had always wanted to photograph her wearing since the day she bought them a few years ago.

All these shots were taken using an off camera strobe with umbrella balanced with the natural light, which is my standard set-up for location shoots.
