Catch up Time

I thought it was about time I caught up, as I am about 3 or 4 blogs behind at present, so decided to get myself back on track in combining the last few shoots into one.

A few weeks ago I did my first shoot with Alice, which was done on location at one of my favorite locations. In all the time I have used this location I have never encountered any people but this time we encountered a man who once he saw what we were doing just didn't want to go away. It was a good job Alice was an exhibitionist as this man wanted to stay, watch and talk for about an hour. So we just had to continue and give him a story which I am sure he has fully told at his local pub on more than one occasion:-)

Anyway here is one of the images from the shoot with Alice.

I have also done another shoot with Cat who stepped in at the very last minute, when I model I had booked had to postpone our shoot for a very good reason. This shoot was done in the studio and I think this is my favorite image from the shoot.

I will get back to my normal longer blog's for my next shoot within the next few days.

Photoshoot with Perilune - 26th March 2012

I can’t believe it’s been nearly a month since I last put up a blog and did a shoot, but looking back my last shoot was back on the 10^th March with Akaridesire.

With the normal pressures of life I am finding it difficult at the moment to schedule in the amount of shoots I would like to do, but let’s hope with spring just around the corner they will become more frequent.

Perilune and myself have been talking about a naughty bride style shoot for ages, which we wanted to do at an old derelict building and maybe also in woodland. Perilune had dug out her wedding outfit and I had the perfect location of an old building in the middle of some woodlands. So we arranged everything and in fact were lucky enough to have a nice day for the shoot which was surprising for the end of March.

We started off doing some images of Perilune in the woodland area beside the building, which was a constant battle with lighting as the sun kept coming out and then going behind the clouds, so I was constantly changing camera settings as I always shoot on manual as it gives me more flexibility as to if I want the background blurred or not depending on each individual scene I am shooting. I had decided for the first set just to get some nice bridal shots with a difference due to the location before moving onto the naughty bride shots.

Once we had completed this set we were going to do the naughty bride set in the building but I noticed the amazing shadows that the sun was creating on the outside wall of the building, so decided to use that wall to see what we could create. It’s funny I have used this location many times, but never seen the light work on that wall in this way before. So we moved to this location and I took some more bridal shots of Perilune capturing the shadow play on the wall, before moving on to the naughty bride set.

I was in Amsterdam back in early March and couldn’t believe my luck to find a beautiful glass dildo in a sale for 10 Euro’s, yes an amazing bargain which was perfect for our ideas of the naughty bridge. We started with Perilune leaning back on the wall and  I just asked her to act the naughty bride which she was surprising good at. Then I had her lay down in front of the wall and continued with the naughty bride them.

To finish the shoot we did some artistic nudes against the wall this time with Perilune wearing just an amazing set of nipple jewellery that I had always wanted to photograph her wearing since the day she bought them a few years ago.

All these shots were taken using an off camera strobe with umbrella balanced with the natural light, which is my standard set-up for location shoots.

Photoshoot with Akaridesire - 10th March 2012

It’s been a very hectic month, at the same time as being very productive as in I have been getting some images printed and framed for the Fetish Evolution event in Germany on 6^th to 8^th April. TheGuild of Erotic Artists will be having a stall there and exhibiting my work which I am so pleased about.  Once the show is over they will remain in the arts district of Cologne, Germany at a new showroom that has been acquired by New Generation Art. This will be run in conjunction with The Guild and the NGA, and works will be for permanent display to sell.

I had a shoot with Akaridesire a few weeks ago, who I had not worked with before. I have to say she has the longest legs of any model I have worked with and then just went on and on.

We did the shoot on location as it was a pretty good day weather wise and the whole theme was Artistic Nude with very low light. I already pretty much had the poses in my head of what I wanted to achieve, but getting the light just right was a struggle and I can’t praise Akaridesire enough for her patience and hard work holding the poses while I tinkered with the lighting.

I underexposed for the background as I wanted it to be in darkness and then used a single strobe to bring in the light exactly where I wanted it.

I look forward to working with Akaridesire again as she is local to myself.

Photoshoot with Nimue - 25th February 2012

I had a late cancellation for a shoot, but was lucky in that Nimue stepped in at the very last minute and prevented me from having a wasted day.

I had not worked with Nimue before, which is really bad of me as I have seen her on the different modelling sites and thought I must contact her and arrange something.

Even though it wasn’t the warmest February day I wanted to work out on location and Nimue was up for it, so went to an old building in the middle of the woods not that far away. The theme for the shoot was torture as in images which represent Nimue being tortured, this turned out to be mostly breast torture as in nipple clamps and pegs.

I used my normal lighting set up for location using one strobe and balancing it with the ambient light to give the image the feel I love.

It was great to work with Nimue is a very professional model and gives everything to the shoot and I hope to work with her again in the near future.

Photoshoot with Jade-Samantha - 21st February 2012

I had a great shoot with Jade-Samantha the other week in my studio, we had a plan for doing this shoot out on location but had to change it for the studio at the last minute, so my plan for the shoot had to change very quickly which happens a lot but that’s part of the fun of photo shoots.

We decided on doing mainly art nude with very minimal lighting, but started off with Jade wearing a red body stocking and progressed onto her wearing a body harness before moving onto the art nude shots.

For all the images I used my standard lighting setup of one light with large Octagonal Soft Box with grid.

I have to say I really enjoyed working with Jade and hope we can sort out another shoot which will be on location if I can arrange.

Photoshoot with Clover - 19th February 2012

It’s always a delight to shoot with the lovely Clover and I wish I could shoot with her much more often. It always amazes me that when I work with Clover that the shoot is so relaxed and the images just seem to happen. We might plan for a 4 hour shoot, but after 2 we have done everything we wanted to and also captured the moment so well. Still might take us 4 hours elapsed but that’s because we spend so long on tea breaks and chatting.

I have thought about why this happens and believe it is because we have become such good friends and after doing over 30 shoots together over the last 3 years, we just know each other so well and each other’s expectations and desired style of the final images.

The theme for the shoot we had planned was corporal punishment and while I intended to come up with some ideas for the shoot, I never found the time so other than an idea of Clover’s of her on the stairs we didn’t have any plans but just went with the flow and saw how the shoot would develop which is more often and how we now work together.

We started with the one idea we had which was Clover to look despondent and thoughtful on the stairs as if she had just been punished and tied up. We placed a rope around the stairs as if it had just been untied and discarded around Clover.  I used one light coming from Clovers right and as the stair rails were in the way this gave a nice shadow on the opposite wall of the stairs and Clover. I am not a big lover of shadows behind the model in shots but in this case I think it adds to the tension. This image can be seen below.

We then moved into the studio and did a set with Clover in a white top and knickers with Clover handcuffed behind her back and a collar and large chain around her deck, before moving on to my favourite set from the shoot of Clover in Victorian bloomers and bonnet. I love Victorian bloomers and have managed to collect a few pairs over the years and find they really give an old appeal to the images. My particular favourite from this set is below of Clovers bum wearing the Bloomers, basically it has my two favourite things included a bare bum and bloomers.

For the last set of the day, we had a chain hanging from the ceiling and Clover hooked to it, while having a spreader bar between her feet. This set was all about getting tension into Clovers body to look like she was fighting against her predicament. When we finished this set I wanted to capture a simple picture of Clover naked still with the cuffs on her wrists and nipple clamps on looking like she had just completed her punishment and was exhausted at the same time as being in a good place.

I am very pleased with the results from this shoot as I always am after working with Clover, who is my favourite model to work with as well as a very good friend and we are now discussing our next shoot together so watch this space.
